Tapioca VoIP


Hi all, I am glad to announce the very first version of Tapioca, our new framework for VoIP applications. Check it at http://tapioca-voip.sourceforge.net. Suggestions and critics are welcome.

Dude, I saw the team's hard work to get the thing working. Now the work is bigger but I know that the project is in some of the best brazilian developers!

Can anyone let me know of reliable what is voip provider. What are the points that we have to be careful to choose a good what is voip? There is so much information out there that it is very difficult to know with whom to go. I would appreciate any hekp on this. Thank you and good luck with your blog.

For those of you that do not know what voip stands for here a definition:

Short for Voice over Internet Protocol, a category of hardware and software that enables people to use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls by sending voice data in packets using IP rather than by traditional circuit transmissions of the PSTN. One advantage of VoIP is that the telephone calls over the Internet do not incur a surcharge beyond what the user is paying for Internet access, much in the same way that the user doesn't pay for sending individual e-mails over the Internet.
